Play and Win Slots Games

There are so many websites you can play slots on, it’s hard to figure out which ones are the best and most exciting.

This is where we come in – to provide you with the necessary information to make the best out of the slots on different websites, with paylines breakdown and up to progressive jackpots. You’ll learn everything right here.

As our cousins, the bricks and mortar casinos around the world progress and manufacture new slot machines, so are the online casino websites promote the most beautiful slots you’ll ever see. Slots are popular on casino websites since they produce good profit, with no need for a trained individual to supervise.

So let’s learn how to properly use, which to play and where to find online slot machines and their mobile siblings.

That way, you can acquire experience until you win the jackpot.

Where to Find a Good Website with Slots

Many slot machines were created by the big companies for specific websites. Without guidance, you’ll have no chance of finding them to play them. All gambling websites were not created equal.

How to Play Slots

When the first online slot machine was created in the mid-‘90s, it only had 3 reels and 1 payline.

Today you’ll find slot machines with 3 reels, 5 reels, 1024 paylines and expensive, Hollywood-quality demos.

Most slot machines work on the same basic technique, although with careful examination you’ll find small differences between software companies developing games of fortune and other software companies.

Remember, usually, you can try most slot machines before you invest money in them.

Spin the Reels on Your Slot Machine

After choosing and pulling up the slot machine on your screen, you’ll find a demo of a machine with a number of reels. The classic slot machines had 3 reels, but today most have 5 reels.

On every reel there are anywhere between 15-25 characters going with the theme of the slot machine, and the game is to spin the reels and win by combining a row of characters on the screen when the machine stops.

With so many symbols and so many paylines, there are millions of options for winning.

On the bottom right side of the machine, you’ll see a “SPIN” button that will prompt the reels to spin. Some machines will stop themselves when they run out of momentum, but in some, the SPIN button will change into a STOP button, that will stop the reels almost on the spot.

The Paytable

Before you start spinning the reels, click the Pay Table or Info button on the screen. A new page will come up with all the information you need about the game. Here you’ll find information about the value of the paylines, a list of the symbols on the slot machine reels and details about the different bonuses you can win during the game.

Some manufacturers will also display the RTP (Return to Player) percentage.

The Sum of the Bet and the Paylines

Before starting to play on a slot machine, you need to determine the sum of the bet on every spin and the number of paylines according to the game’s character.

If you’re on a budget, you can find slot machines where the minimum betting sum is as low as $0.01 per row.

On the second step, determine how much you want to bet on a particular row. You’ll usually be able to choose between 1-10, meaning the bet on each row will be the same as the one you have determined on the previous step.

On the third step, choose how many paylines you want to bet on. You can determine the number of paylines between 1 and the maximum available for the machine. Clicking the paylines button will increase or decrease their number.

Note the “Max. Bet” button next to the SPIN button. Clicking it will increase your betting sum straight to the maximum.

On some machines, the paylines are fixed and can’t be changed by the player. As time passes, a machine like this will produce a lot more coins, but the odds of winning are lower.

Betting, All or Nothing

After you’re done adjusting the game to your desired betting sum and chose the winning odds you like (higher winning odds mean produce less coins), click SPIN to spin the machine. The reels will spin up to a complete stop. Every combination of symbols will compensate you immediately, but some machines will ask you if you’d like to double the bet. If you choose to double, usually 2 upside down cards will appear on the page and you’ll have to choose which one you think is the red one. If you guess correctly, your winnings will double.

The Symbols on the Slots

As mentioned previously, most machines will have somewhere between 12-25 symbols on each reel, according to the machine's theme. It could be fruit, different styles of the number 7, superhero bars, mythical characters, treasures, diamonds, different card symbols, etc.

Wilds and Scatters

When the reels stop, the machine will check if you won. The check is done from left to right and different combinations of symbols will result in a win. Every slot machine has a default symbol that will be counted as a symbol that matches every combination of symbols (Wild). Often the Wild symbol will be used to double the winnings.

There’s another symbol, the Scatter – when it appears while the machine stops, it will increase the winnings.

If you’ve started playing and 3 Scatters appear, or a bonus announcement – there are a few types of bonuses. For example, you might win up to 50 spins on the slots free of charge. Sometimes during the bonus game, you’ll win another bonus that will add free spins to the ones you’ve won already.

There are several versions of bonuses like stopping the slots and starting a mini-game where you have to guess something, etc. Every slots manufacturer will invent these kinds of bonuses to diversify the types of machines it releases for the enjoyment of the gamblers.

RTP and RNG

I assume you’ll run into these acronyms a few times while playing slots.

RNG – Random Number Generators

This is a module in the slot machine computer that creates the randomness of the games and the winning odds of the gamblers. This module was tested by international companies evaluating the fortune games of each of the big manufacturing companies, in order to promise that the games are fair. The rule says the machine has to return to the player a certain percentage of their betting sum.

Keep in mind – the higher the accumulated jackpot is, the lower the winning odds are until suddenly someone wins tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars.

RTP – Return to Player

This is the percentage that the manufacturer commits to return to the player. This percentage varies from game to game, and from manufacturer to manufacturer. The RTP goes from 80% to 99% – that means that if you played 100 games for $1 each, and the RTP is 95%, the most you’ll lose is $5. These $5 are the casino’s profit.

In addition, if you played 5000 games, you’ll risk at most $50 and your chance if winning a jackpot increases immeasurably.
