After all the poker cards have come out, you need to decide how to end the hand with the most virtual chips in your stack, whether that means raising to make money or folding to save money. The tactics you’ll use vary somewhat from game to game, but it’s crucial that you know how to determine the best possible hand and how close you are to having that hand. Be prepared for the unexpected, though, because the most unlikely of hands can become winners when that last card comes out. After all, if there were no river, there would be no fish.
